Chicago in the Blogs: February 4th, 2009

Before heading out at about 7pm today, I quickly contemplated what the temperature would be. It was sunny when I went to bed after all. Yeah… It was bone chilling cold. Apparently this is the winter that will never end!

Well, anyway, here is what is in the blogs for Wed, February 4th.

Richard Roeper, my favorite columnist, has started a website and blog. Check that out at RichardRoeper.com

The Trib reports on the 100 jobs that are being cut from local Macy’s stores. That is really not bad considering the amount of people Macy’s is cutting nationwide.

Edward Lifson blogs at hellobeautifulblog.com asking us how would we welcome back President Obama to the city of Chicago.

The Chicago Reader has a interesting post on the Armenian perspective of Chicago.

Chicagoan economists chime in on the Obama Stimulus Package.

Suntimes has the transcript from Blago’s stop at the Late Show.

And for you Loop workers, parking lot prices are actually going down. Amazing? Nothing ever goes down in the city!
