Chicago in the Blogs: February 6th, 2009

So, aside from the fact that I am already a charter member of the Unofficial Amy Freeze fan club, she actually commented on my Facebook page yesterday to thank me for the blog shout out. What was once a tie between her and Tom Skilling has now been broken and Amy Freeze is officially the coolest meteorologist in Chicago. Which is not easy to do because I have an autographed Tom Skilling picture that I used to hang on my childhood bedroom wall. But anyone that is called out at a Bears game on national TV about her name being fake, and makes it a point  to correct the announcers is offically BA (Bad A$$) Anyway, moving on.

The whole reason my mother used to avoid any medicine box that even looked SLIGHTLY dented, they are reupping their efforts on the 1982 Tylenol murders. Someone has to know what happened, lets hope they solve it soon.

The Trib gets in a little dig at the Sun Times, wondering why Oprah isn’t in discussion to buy the Sun Times.

The Gretawire has a post about Mayor Daley and what he would do if the stimulus package passes.

Time Out Chicago is launching a new kids edition.

Richard Roeper talks about the importance of having a good story, no matter what era or medium.

Those are some of the interesting things I have found for today. See you tomorrow!
