Riot Fest 2013 in Chicago was a wild and unforgettable weekend of music and fun. The three-day festival, held September 13-15 at Humboldt Park, featured an impressive lineup of punk, rock, and alternative bands that had fans rocking out all weekend long.

Saturday’s lineup was just as impressive, with sets by alternative rockers The Cure, The Flaming Lips, and The National. The Cure, who haven’t played a festival in the U.S. in over a decade, brought their signature moody sound to the stage, while The Flaming Lips put on an energetic and visually stunning performance. Sunday’s lineup was no slouch either, with performances by punk icons Rancid, Dropkick Murphys, and The Offspring. Rancid, who always bring their A-game, had the crowd moshing and singing along to classics like “Ruby Soho” and “Time Bomb.” Dropkick Murphys, who always put on an energetic and entertaining show, had the crowd dancing and singing along to hits like “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” and “The State of Massachusetts.” The Offspring, who closed out the festival with a hit-filled set, had the entire crowd rocking out to classics like “Come Out and Play” and “Self Esteem.”
